Devlog 1 - Armor system and balancing the game


Now thats ACT 1 is released, i am moving to planning phase of ACT 2. One thing i am not happy with how i am implemented it and i want to address it is Armor system
Right now, armor only gives buff to Defense parameter with translates to taking less damage from enemies with do not encourage people to use it. I bet most of the people don't even know that there is armor in this game to use. In act 2 i want to implement system that will more determine your play style. Right now with weapons you can use is dictated by class that character is, i am gonna change it that by default, you can use light weapons like knife (Starting weapon of John) and equiping armor will allow you to wield different weapons (like guns).
Other things that armor will do is give you certain debuffs and buffs. For example right armor or plain clothes will give you only light protection but will make you encounter less enemies, wile heavy armor will give you more deffense but your actions will be perfomed last in the battle

Class system will also be changed, i realised that locking your character to max level 4 will make end game fights repeatable and will not offer much fun. Class system will be boil to -DPS, -Healer, -Tank. Personalized abilities are here to stay and will be unlocked off the bat on level 1. I am still thinking about changing the MP is required for ULT's

I am looking forward to hearing your feedback on these changes and can't wait to tell you more about plan for act 2!
